An unseen menace is threatening Ellen’s home and there’s nothing she can do to stop it. Wolves are stealing children, the seasons are out of sync and a neighbouring town has become a centuries-old ruin overnight.

Threatened with being burnt at the stake, Ellen opts for exile instead and starts a journey in search of answers. What she discovers threatens more than just her world.
