CJ Emerson was born and raised on the outskirts of London, and has an unnerving obsession with technology. After obtaining an MA In Creative Writing, her first novel, Objects of Desire, was shortlisted for the Crimewriters’ Association New Blood Dagger Award and is the first book in the Pav McNeil series of suspense thrillers.

As well as writing fast-paced mysteries and thrillers with memorable characters and touches of dark humour, CJ has also written Convergence, the first in the Time Breach series of science fantasy novels showcasing the resourceful Ellen Dust. CJ now lives in a farmhouse in the Wye Valley with her wife, two recalcitrant collies, a rescued greyhound, a noisy cat, and two rescued Australian Lowline cattle (in the fields, not the farmhouse…)
